QA to Data Engineering?
Is it possible to switch the career from QA automation engineer to Azure big data engineer
Provided that I am having total 7 years of work experience in the industry and it will take at least 1 year to prepare for learning the data engineering.
If yes, please help me with the road map
Why data engineering?
I see limited long-term growth in QA, as the career progression tends to plateau after a few years in terms of both learning and earning potential. On the other hand, data engineering excites me because of the tech stack involved—distributed computing, big data processing with Apache Spark, and real-time data streaming with Apache Kafka. These technologies are shaping the future of data-driven decision-making, and I want to be a part of that evolution. But at the same time I am open for other growth oriented tech stack, if Available.
