My manager told that I will get the promotion will be effective from April 1 but no email for assurance. He was not sure when I will get the promotion letter it could be anytime next quarter.
In the mean time, I put resignation yesterday, will I still get promotion letter. Or will they block it
Will they give me promotion hike + retaintion hike??
they might offer you retention or counter hike but chances are low, talk to your manager
I am the key resource within team. Will they give me promotion as said earlier or they will block it as I initiated seperation?
Promotion happens on quarterly basis, so even if they stop you, you can't receive letter on an immediate basis. Plus, if they offer you promotion, they won't give you retention hike because it will be too much for the company and Infosys will not pay this much. They will either give you retention hike or promotion.
Defintely you won’t get the system email if you have dropped papers. DM can give you assurance over email. Mostly they will do it if assurance given part of retention
