Hello, Can anyone let me know the process of band progression from b2 to b3 in wipro ? Does anyone promoted from b2 to b3 recently ? Need comments on this
Progression as per policy is happening every quarter right now, if you are eligible, your name will come in the list for your tagged manager, could be the service line person, they will nominate and as per slots you will get promoted
I have been nominated twice but did not get the promotion yet 😅 Not sure what else can we do to get promoted even when manager is nominating.
I was nominated thrice for C1, i was given reason that slots are not available, i m consistently rated 4/5 since i have been in this organization. This time I had a fight with the Practice head as they couldnt give me a valid reason!
Yes myskillz is a criteria for nominations ..but back end all politics …when I resigned they told they will give c1 but later they just nominated and it was rejected at hr level ..now they will tell we tried but it was rejected at hr level ,they will only tell hr to reject.
As far as I know, it depends highly on your ratings. It should be in an upward movement for the last 3 years. What I meant is - It should be 3*,4*,4* or 3*,4*, 5* or 4*,4*,5* or 3*,3*,4* (somewhat upgrading like this for the last 3 years).
If it gets dropped for any of the year ( 5,5,4 or 4,4,3 or 3,5,3). You have to start again. So, Your manager will intentionally drop your ratings at the 3rd year to make you out from the promotion cycle. Obviously, there are other factors as well.

No ratings are only a formality. Real play happens from manager level. Don't argue with them look good opportunity and put paper. If you are really doing good they should run behind you for promotion, increment whatever.
do we need to complete any myskillz assessments before getting nominated by the manager ?
