The market is quite saturated with BI developers. If you work at an extremely good firm , u might get around 15-20 lpa but, it’s not a forward looking role.

Power BI may become so much better with Gen AI integration that in future we might not need BI developers to create dashboards. Most of it would become truly self serve with Natural Language query processing. I would encourage you to evolve into a more problem solving role taking advantage of your experience, something like a Data PM role, which will give you room to grow in product roles as well as salary jumps.
