Paternity leaves in Indian organisations
Recently, Bank of America’s india GCC updated their paternity leaves to 26 weeks ( 16 weeks paid and 10 weeks unpaid). It used to be ~2 weeks earlier.
How are things at your organisation with respect to paternity leaves?
6 months paid maternity as well as paternity
Yeah. Maternity leaves are govt mandated. Having 6 months of paternity leave shows how employees centric a company is!
6 month paternity leave
No paternity leaves in TCS. We have to use our leaves. Sayad yaha koi baap nhi Banta ya join hone se pehle hi ban jata hai.
2 consecutive weeks in Deloitte USI

I have heard good things about Bank of America culture (India offices), good perks and decent salaries.
It is quite weird.
3 days. If you try to take paid or unpaid vacation of more than 2 weeks then a lot of hue and cry about impacting business
