On bench since I joined my first company

It's been almost an year since I joined my current company. They interviewed me on ML and AI, of which I have very good knowledge. When I joined they assigned me to SAP and did not consider my requests to reassign me to a domain that suits my skill set. I tried learning SAP but it simply wasn't for me. All the anxiety resulted in a 6 month hospital stay. I'm almost recovered now, but management still won't respond to anything I ask. WFM asked me to move to a very unreasonable location. I refused. I kept upskilling in data and AI domains in the meantime. I'm currently looking for another job. But it's very difficult for a fresher who is on bench for almost an year. I would like advice from you guys. What should I do? Should I stay and wait for the opportunity or should I just change job, if I get one?

i was in similar company where i was on bench and was in SAP and it's really not for me too but i was there for a year and on bench and i got fed up and left it, didn't think much (i thought about it lot but sometimes it's not enough), i would suggest don't leave the company unless you get one offer or atleast you have few interviews lined up where you are certain you will get that opportunity because right now job market sucks.
