Offer negotiation - when to do?
Hello,
I have received an offer from Capgemini but they haven't offered designation and salary as per my expectation. Also, I have a better offer already from other organisation.
The problem is that Capgemini offer need to be accepted within a week. Now I am in a dilemma whether to accept it right away and negotiate it later or should I negotiate by providing them counter offer and then get the offer revised now itself?
Please advise.
You can ask CG HR to match the offer also you can ask for upto 30% hike...it's a gamble....but depends on how you frame your request to HR
If they don't agree to negotiate and match the offer, do they revoke the offer?
Usually they don't...but depends on HR....it depends on how you have built relations with them.....(If they revoke then)you can ask for a days time to rethink and keep the offer open
Inform the hr about the counter offer and then u can accept it . Ask for revised offer
After accepting can i ask to them revised what do you think,, will they revised my offer?
