I’m planning to quit my job and move to another company soon. What’s the best practices on quitting and parting with your team and managers on good terms?
This time period where the company will solidify the reasons you were leaving them in first place
What is resignation approval? I am telling you and will leave after the contract period. Why do I need to take approval?
FnF You put your papers and starve for food and water till your last day. Where is it written that salary is not disbursed during notice period? and will be given after 45 days from leaving Almost 3-4 months without money!
Become the bad person Anything and everything that happened over last few years, it is because of the person leaving.
I know you didn't ask for the advice, but please document everything on mail. You'll have to prove your integrity till the very last minute.
P.S. I thought I was leaving because of less money, but it is definitely the toxic culture.
Aah, that's bad. I remember my resignation last time. I informed my manager that I don't feel that this role is right for me and it stresses me out. I asked him whether I can have my notice period reduced to 2 weeks from 60 days.
He said yes, said that there's no point in forcing me to stay more. Only request was whether I could finish the task that I started, and to report the progress everyday when I was on the notice period.
On the last day, he just checked once more whether I had changed my mind and that he would want me to continue.
The FnF payment was made in 8 days as well.
