Notice period

Only 30 days left in my notice period and my manager is asking me to work on a new requirement. I already requested release before 4 months and they refused to give so only I resigned. My new organisation tech stack is different. Will there be any consequences if I don't work?

I would say cooperate with him and leave with a ‘good’ impression. It will give you a sense of satisfaction and give enormous satisfaction in your new role!

If you don't work, expect a bad reference. But honestly, who cares? You're leaving. Focus on your new role.

Bad reference and all I don't care actually. Thing is they will not extend my LWD and kinda things right?

No buddy can extend your LWD except you so don't worry

If u feel it would bring a bad impression or hoping that your lwd will be extended, inform your manager that u would work on that requirement only at your pace not his mentioned timeline and this would be your last requirement

Even I'm on NP. Around 60 days are remaining. I had a call with HR because I was not co-operating with my manager. HR threatened me saying that whatever I was doing, is termed as abscondment in corporate world and you'll face serious consequences for it. But, HRs are always ready for such cases, so it's like a script they have ready with them. So, I'll just tell you that there's no reason to worry about if you don't work on any task. It's upto you if you want to co-operate or not.
