Notice Period & Appraisal – Will I Get My New Band & Compensation Letter?
I am currently serving my notice period, and my last working day is in April end . I received my performance rating for the financial year 2024, which is 4.3, and I am eligible for a band as well. However, since I am on notice, I am unsure whether I will receive band and compensation letter. Will it be put on hold? Also, if I decide to withdraw my resignation, will I still get my band and revised compensation? If anyone has faced a similar situation or has insights, please share your experience!
Since you resigned, you would have been awarded a C band already. If your retention discussion is ongoing, then you could be awarded a B. If you withdraw your resignation before the bands are released, you'll receive your revised compensation letter. If you don't, then you'll receive a C band but no compensation letter because then you would be eligible for separation process as your employment status would have changed to "Serving notice period".
