
Trending @Accenture; Need urgent suggestion: asked to revoke resignation with verbal promise on good hike in june cycle
I'm being asked to revoke resignation and are claiming this time they will give good compensation in june cycle. The problem is I've been in Accenture since a year but joined as a senior for a low low pay. So this change in package and career is important for me. Accenture is not ready to promise anything in writing, but a person with a really high position is asking me to stay back and wait. Should I entertain this?will they really come close to my 100% hike if I revoke? I know the job market won't be great in the second half of the year.

No company will give 100% hike it's only when you switch you get

None taken, but it's different when you're in the moment, and if this is the first retention discussion in your career. My dilemma was whether I should convince myself they would pay and stay back to not disrespect them or leave and worry about myself. Ofcourse I'm leaving now.
My last 2 discussions on the topic they had promised a written agreement and with the MD discussion all became clear

Never go with verbal communication, person from Accenture leadership for your project has to acknowledge the same via email....else you are pretty much screwed
