GOLD - ETF/Fund/Bond/Physical 10%
FIXED Income- (include EPF and PPF here) 20%
Once you cross total liquid assets of 50L
Hire a Fee Only Financial Planner
Also get a Term Insurance worth 25 times your current income with step up option
Keep 6 months expenses in Savings Account or Short Term FD (for rainy day, layoffs, . medical emergency and what not).
