Need Advice: Balancing Notice Period Workload & Interview Prep

Hi all, I’m in my notice period with 30 days left and currently don’t have any offer in hand. I want to focus on interview preparation, but my client keeps assigning regular tasks. It’s getting hard to manage both.

Any suggestions on how to handle this professionally?

Finish your task early or on weekends but tell them it’s taking longer and study/schedule interviews during that time

Put out a reason that your doctor advised you minimum screen time, due to which you resigned and work as minimum as you can.

Why focus your time and energy on a company you are going to leave?
With 1 month left, it's high time you focus on interview prep. It's a fault with the company if they are assigning tasks to a person in their last month. You should only be asked to give KTs now. They are being unprofessional not you. Do the bare minimum at work, just so that they can't say you are not working.

Be confident, don't be a push over. Refuse any new assignment. Tell them to assign it your replacement and you will help him/her if required.

Focus on interviews, you are eligible for immediate joining now. Many new opportunities will open up Work hard. All the best 👍

Best thing is do minimal tasks n take out time for yourself n in meetings if asked tell them u r on it. U can also try to study while computing to the office if going.

If you have decided to quit irrespective of offer then why bothered about work ?

Tell your manager, I am in no mood to work, I can't focus.. If you wish release me early.

Give 5X timeline, don't join meetings. They can't do anything on paper..

Once your notice period starts, should not take any new work. Only finish pending work and give KT. That's all...
