My LinkedIn profile got hacked.

Guys....one idiot hacked my LinkedIn profile yesterday. The user is from New York. I got a notification at midnight that the idiot had changed my profile photo and all other details and he made his profile completely as a software engineer profile. My sleep was gone for a toss after seeing my LinkedIn. Somehow I changed my password immediately and retained my account. But now my all information is gone and I need to rephrase again....how stupid these HACKERS are. They don't have their own identity they are just playing with other life...I wish I could find him and give a BIG TIGHT SLAPPPPP....

Sorry to hear this...

If possible try to use 2FA or MFA for social media apps like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc along with a stronger password for better privacy.

Lesson: first line of defence is to use a long (>=24 characters ) randomly generated password, and ideally a password manager to store and manage (duh) all your passwords. Check out Bitwarden, it works great.
