Give it two year as their main fund manager left this fund 6 month back and new fund manager is correcting it now

I hope it corrects its course, but I anyways sold and booked 10% loss. I'm planning to invest in MidCap Index ETF directly, rather than going for so-called actively managed funds.

That is how you generate alpha. If you cant tolerate short term downside equity is not your cup of tea. You can look towards investing in fixed income.

Trimmed the SIP to less than half it was. Lost trust in it looking at the way it underperformed in last 2 yrs, compared to other midcap funds.
