Morning Motivation
When you wake up feeling unwilling to start your day, remind yourself: "I’m getting up to do the work I was made for as a human being." So why am I unhappy about doing what I was created to do? Was I made just to stay cozy in bed? But that’s more comfortable, you might say. Well, are you here just to seek comfort and avoid effort? Look at the small plants, birds, ants, spiders, and bees—they’re all busy doing their part to keep the world in order. Shouldn’t you also get up and do the work you were meant to do? Yes, rest is important, but nature has set limits on how much rest we need—just like with eating and drinking. Yet, while you often overindulge in food, you hold back from doing as much work as you’re capable of. If you truly cared about yourself, you’d care about fulfilling your purpose. Think about how dedicated people are to their crafts—they’ll work tirelessly, skipping meals and sleep, to master their skills. But you value your purpose less than they value their hobbies or ambitions. Isn’t contributing to society more meaningful and deserving of effort? - Marcus Aurelius

so, my purpose in life is to make meaningless reports that nobody reads. This doesn't motivate me. The only person who contributes less than me is HR. and they turn up to work everyday. Thats my motivation to get up and come to office.
