I’m not a big fan of Zuck. But what Meta pulled off is truly incredible. I’ve been making fun of metaverse since ‘21.
More power to builders in the arena who keep on building, defying all odds.
What a time to be alive to see such inventions.
It's definitely a massive improvement. But they do mention that a special scan was done as a part of their R&D earlier, which is a pretty big process. So, unless they do that for everyone using the quest, this won't be possible.
But, the underlying engineering is almost magic, with all of this processing happening near real-time.
