Manager not allowing WFH on diwali
Is it a good time to fight your manager or go against his/her decision in terms of the job market. Is there any other solution?

You have to understand if this behavior of your manager is consistent or not. If it's a one time thing then try to understand the reason. Otherwise it's time to find a new manager.

Not the first time. For the past one year. He/She simply rejects every request without giving any reason.

Ahh same as my manager then, yeah if it's a consistent behavior find a new manager. At least that's what I am doing. For me it's been 1.5 years with a lot of toxic display of traits. So..
