Man I am sick of TCS
The constant politics is unfathomable to me and some stupid folks continue to act above anyone because they butter up people in-charge.
It is just obvious that people in my project are trying to save their ass. None of them have either the will or the guts to execute what is needed, rather the focus is on a project scope that offends the least number of stakeholders.
I have decided to take things less intensely now. for the sake of my mental health. I think it is important for me to travel, live my life and stop caring about a soulless company.
Anyone else feeling this way?
Me too. I have no choice but to stay back because I’m not finding jobs outside to switch right now. So gotta grin and bear it mate. Every dog has its day and I’ll have mine too. And you’ll have yours too

Due to same reasons, I chose to resign and now I am serving np.
The slave mentality people talk about is much more evident here than anywhere else. They treat the clients as masters, even when they're wrong or unjustified, the management will rather put the lower ranks under the stress and strains and themselves for them, I have worked with clients prior but here its just seems youre a subject in a colony, tcs has no spine, theyre just a good slave and proud of it.

TCS is not it used to be earlier. The senior leadership, management, HR policies everything has exceptionally changed. They are no more employee centric.
Politics is everywhere - not just jobs, outside the job as well Your chances of survival grows as you learn to negotiate politics.
Politics and doing wrong are two different things. Playing with peoples life and emotions, insensitive people. People here don't even respect the employees dead parent or closed ones.
Same here brother. I can see the people who do boot licking are favoured as compared to the ones who actually work. So best thing is to keep calm and look for other companies offer
I am in the same boat as you are and i have started taking things lightly. Hang on there buddy and take things lightly, if you are at the stage of your career where you are not worried about growth much then take things lightly else switch but remember things are more or less same everywhere.

Bro whatever you are feeling, I am also feeling the same and they are not giving me release from current project.. Constant politics, buttering up non deserving literally exhausted me a lot when it comes to work culture. Absolutely fed up with this!
I completed my 5th year last week, but no congratulations from manager, for that reason alone i resigned.
