Job security at IBM

Hello,

I would like to understand how the job security is at IBM? Does it lay off employees quite often or hire employees on contract basis?

I think job security is high there since its a service based and also at least I havent heard anything such as layoffs here

There is unit in IBM which is service based. IBM has its products too. Not all IBMers are working in service unit of IBM.

Silent layoffs as no good projects and some restructuring happening this year so be careful if you are directly tagged to project then you are good to go
