Is it normal while applying for a senior level job to be asked for high school (10th and 12th percentage)?

I mean I have work experience of over 12 years but it’s the first time I have seen this. Like mostly am gonna go with red flag with the company but what are your thoughts? The company is Engati btw. Based in Bangalore and mumbai. Anyway stay toxic Indian tech scene…!

I don't think you did it, they are taking risk by hiring you, their money is at risk, whats your risk?

Your employment is "at will" in India. So you can jump ship anytime.

You know at-will employment goes both ways right? They can also dump an employee any time.

Many years ago , I had met a guy in BMTC bus. He was working with Microsoft with about overall 10+ work ex. He was telling me how Infosys had rejected him because he did not have enough marks in 10th class. 😂😂

Their call ultimately, but it is definitely not normal and leaves a bad impression on a prospective employee

I was asked at an Indian IT company (not taking their name); but not at a senior level. Worked with them for a few years. Our design team was really nice but the company culture was very really bad and “sarkari” (like a govt office).
