Is it good to join SBI as Deputy Manager
I have been selected in SBI as deputy Manager in cloud and operations and in Bank of Maharashtra as Senior Manager. In SBI pakg is 26lpa and in Bank of Maharashtra PKG is 30 lpa. I am in IBM ISL with PKG 35 LPA. Have 9 yoe and tech stack cloud and Devops. I got an exceptional rating in both so I'm expecting a 10% hike. Is it good to join the public sector Bank. In IBM ISL I have good work life balance so confused whether to leave or not.
Will it be a gov job then?
Yes, it will be a govt job but I am thinking it's not worth getting less salary than the current one.
Join sbi good perks after certain time your salary will increase and you will be earning till 60 which might or might not possible in IT

Same here , got selected as a Deputy Manager at SBI -Project Management and Delivery -MMGS II. I am also confused with taking the step to move to a public sector although I gave the interview thinking I wouldn't even qualify. Did you choose Infra position at SBI ? If so I have heard that there are night shifts as well and might have a workload.
What exam did you write to get selected in SBI and BOM?
Dont go with the package sbi inhand is 85-90k monthly othrs are allowance HRA etc benefits

SBI and BOM offering such high packages? I had no idea.
