Is it fine to join Infosys by a third party payroll?

Guys, one of my friends has given an offer to join Infosys by a third party payroll and they said that after one year depending on his performance they will get him in direct payroll of Infosys. Is it fine for him or for him career, growth and future? If anyone has faced this kind of experience please let me know what will be the better way? It will be very helpful for my friends future.
