Introvert or something else?

I find it difficult to have conversation with people. I always fall short of words and almost every conversation feel like a question answering session.

In office - I talk to people if I any help is required or they come to me for so but apart from that no major conversations.

Outside office - I play badminton with random people..there also I sometimes feel like talking but I always end up it doomed silence

It's about boys. With girls its way too less...

I have seen introvert people and in my opinion they have below thought in their mind:

"People are not talking to me or I'm not talking to people. Its just fine"

But here comes my brain:

"People are not talking to me. Why? I'm not talking to people. Why? It's not fine. Why?"

I mean I sort of end up thinking that I'm useless in this world... where people just talk good, laugh good and make the world happier around them.. on the other side, I am neither happy from in nor out.

Do you also feel so?

Conversation does involve questions and answers buddy, that's the basis of most conversation with strangers, especially in the beginning.

Talk if you feel like it, or don't if you don't want to. Pointless to think beyond that.

Yes but when I hear at so many places that it should not get into interview mode. I begin to feel like something is wrong with me. But yes you are correct.. It's about our ownself rather than others

Happens with me too. I am not that good with keeping the conversation going, rather it always ends up like an interview session. One thing which has helped me is I have started to observe more and more, all the sentences they say, the surroundings, everything and that's where the curiosity and the questions arise which can easily help you strike the conversation.
