Interview Jump Outs!

It's become quite a norm for interviewers to jump out of the scheduled slot in between of the interviews, stating abrupt production issues. This is my second in the last 4 companies I've interviewed with.

Is this normal?

Are you a fresher or experienced professional? Who jumps out of an interview unless it is really a Production or urgent issue? Do you think one goes for tea break during your interview? Come on dude.

Yeah, I assumed it's a tea break

2 interviewers leaving you in the middle of an interview - Probably they thought you are not worthy so may have felt that tea break is better. I normally cut short the interview if a candidate is bad and gracefully wrap the interview.

Don’t think it is normal and looks like a red flag

You mean the OP is the red flag?

Definitely not normal. I'll push them to speak about the issue if it is a young startup, but otherwise avoid that place.

I did this one time. I was on-call for that week and was taking one interview, in the middle I got a pager so I informed the candidate and had to jump out of the interview.
