Interview ethics
I was in an interview with a CEO of an 8 year old startup. The dude was vaping during the interview. Kept saying “whatever” to all my achievements, didn’t even see my resume before starting the interview. Stretched a 30 minutes call to 75 minutes where I only spoke for 15 maybe. I immediately withdrew my application post the call. Did anyone ever experience bad behaviour from the interviewer?

During my placement year, at Bangalore Accenture office, 2 interviewer were allotted for 5 candidates, and the HR's were telugu so, 2 of us were "North Indian" for them, eventually they talked with other 3 candidates in Telugu coz they were telugu, we 2 got rejected, they ignored us throughout the interview process. So, that was my first racism experience, in our own country by a shit head HR, only one male guy was racist the other female HR kept quiet throughout the interview. Now when I see my other friends who are in Accenture, they are earning low salary as well as have low self esteem, also their technical capabilities are limited. No progress as such. From that day I keep Accenture on my spam mailbox. I have given many interviews, but i will vouch for it as the worst interview. I was 21/22 i guess back then, i had little knowledge about all this shit that might happen to me.

Because all my colleagues, freshers or experienced, earn quite a bit more than us.
Now that I think about it, us are from a few t3 colleges in north but these are all south folks.
I am not sure about that, but I won't forget my interview experience, ever the girl with me was from Maharashtra, we both were just some North Indian for them, I still remember the HR guy face and the evil smile at last when told "i think we are done with the interview". Early 20's is when you step into the real world...and i was too naive to understand what just happened with us. Try thinking about the most egoistic person of your team, the guy who knows it all, the guy who always makes feel he is superior... These are are quite common with certain kind of people. Now I know about it I maintain distance and my small talks are limited to null.

I won’t be able to name the company for reasons best known to me. But I already mentioned it’s an 8 year old startup. The CEO is a first time founder. Company is bootstrapped and is in the influencer marketing platform field. Hope this is enough.
