How does feel to hang out with someone having jee rank <100 ( really high IQ people ) ?
I don't know what this means but I am sick and tired of teaching these noobs from IITs in my team, can't do shit getting a degree in agriculture engineering or textile engineering but leaving that out and just putting IIT is a scam
@RealOldmonk adding on, have worked with ppl from CS from IITs as well, all they are good at is algo and DS, some really do wonders applying those concepts to solve a problem at scale, others have no clue where tho apply those concepts :-P

They are normal people only lol. Very humble tho. Speaking from experience of working with multiple such folks.
Very difficult to generalise. They can be the best to worst in terms of social life, personality, etc. No doubt about the intelligence but still not everyone is suited for a workplace. Totally depends on the individual.
Some of them are really dumb in real life. They are so accustomed to being good people, they lack agency. They are good mercenaries though.
I feel tiny bit of sadness because with that much intelligence they should be studs ruling society, but they aren’t.
I am happy because high IQ is not an unfair advantage in our society in terms of outcome financially, socially.
It’s an honour, to listen to them. I knew a guy who got AIR 178 in JEE. He spoke about his subject passionately and used to teach everyone. He’s no professor in the US.
Since when did JEE rank became a high IQ test?. A single mark difference can change your rank by 100's. Not trying to disparage JEE rank holders they are smart no doubt. But that not the measure of high IQ
One maybe high IQ and not a JEE rank holder. But a JEE rank holder is certainly above average IQ. Top 100 definitely so.
They are also human like us.
17 rank holder my friend. Earning well. Generous. Not a nerd. Knows almost everything under sun. Very Very High IQ but

Apart from work, one is regular in marathons and other in writing English novels.
If not IITJEE, share your rank or percentage from any major exam or competition..
Personally, I sucked at IITJEE and my rank was 112,700. I am ashamed to talk about this to anyone normally but here I can share it.

I took 3 IQ test . In one of them my score was 40 in another 79 and in another 112. It's worth noting that I got 3 different results so I wander whether IQ scores are actual a hallmark of intelligence.
