If you use a smartwatch, use it only if you are fit and want to use CC

I don't know if I'm late to the party, but I just got to know from a gym buddy that smartwatch companies usually sell data about your health and fitness to Credit companies. And these companies use this data to decide whether you are worthy of a certain credit score. And all this is legal, to which you've given your consent as well 👀.

Idk if this is true bcz most smartwatches are not that accurate, but for those of you using Garmins, Samsungs and Apple watches, I think you should be aware of this since they use high quality sensors compared to other brands AFAIK.

But still, is this true ? Or just another conspiracy ? Have you been impacted by your credit provider despite having a great CIBIL score and wondered why ? Can it be due to this ?
