If we truly want to move away from a colonial mindset, perhaps it's time to switch lanes

Most countries that drive on the left are former British colonies including South Africa, Australia and New Zealand. Only four European nations still drive on the left, all of which are islands. Ths group consists of the United Kingdom, Ireland, Malta and Cyprus.

It's not easy to do where no rules are followed strictly in the first place. Trying to do this will introduce only more confusion.

Also, we need to understand that we do not need to prove independent that we are not more a colony. Matlab kab tak ye natak chalega bhai.....

  1. Right side mei abhi comfort ban gaya hai toh zabardasti left mei change karke kyu chaos karne ka.

  2. Ingeneral, zabardasti ka change that actually brings no good bus shayad Mann ki shanti mile jisse, toh ek baar dekh lena chaiye ki effort to result ka ratio kitna hai. Iss same example par apply kare ye logic toh pata chalega mehnat bahut par phal kuch khas nahi.

Bruh what problem are you trying to solve by doing this?

Doesn't accomplish anything though, no improvement in road safety as such by just changing lanes. Sending a message isn't worth it. As pointless as changing city or area names.

Logon se sahi lane mein toh gaadi chalti nahi....pehle se hi wrong side chalta hai india mein. I remember Gaurav Kapoor's joke...ke bhai india mein na wrong side ko legal kar dena chahiye. On top of that if bring this Right hand driving toh ho gaya.

Agree with all on how it will be just chaotic to make this shift. I recently went to Vietnam, where they drive on the right side, and it was SO difficult to cross roads because I kept looking in the opposite direction since I was used to that in India lol

Almost 100% of the tax paying population is employed by companies that are owned by foreign investors. Even Indian born companies are heavily invested by foreigners.

What good would it bring to change the lane we drive in? This will only cause panic among the middle class people.
