I keep getting PIPed 😔

I’ve been working as a Frontend Engineer for the past three years across three companies, but I keep getting PIPed in all of them.

I know the issue lies with me, but I can’t seem to fix it.

The feedback I received included being on time, which I improved, but others were often late, so I don’t think that was the main problem. I also struggled with lots of spillovers and excessive PR comments.

The biggest issue I see in myself is carelessness. I try to be more attentive and put in effort for a while, but I always end up slipping back into old habits.

Any tips on how to break this cycle? One more PIP and It might break all confidence I have.

You're in the wrong role sir.

If your heart isn't in it this is bound to happen. Introspect and see what do you really like doing/can do with a relatively higher endurance level.

Try and be true to yourself.

If you feel you are slow then you will have to manage extra time from your personal time. But it will be worth it only if you love what you do. Be ready with things even before the expected time.
I know spending extra time would take a toll of your personal life, but you can give it a try if you want to avoid and spillovers.
