I haven't got any proper work since a year now

I joined the company in Dec of 2021 and since then I have been completing udemy courses and company wide seminars and everything except work.

I got into a project around June and till now I haven't done any work at all. When I ask the manager about this he always says the profile has been sent to the client, they will let us know about work and stuff like that. Towards December he just saw my messages and didn't even reply back.

I was off-boarded from the so-called project a while ago and when I asked about this he says I'll be shifted to another project. "P2P movement" idk what it is.

In summary: on paper I have 1 year experience but I don't have any knowledge about work and I'm functioning like I'm still a fresher. I don't think I can quit as I'm on a two year bond.

I got this job when I was in very desperate times and I'm very grateful for it and the salary I'm getting but I'm still at a place where I can't tell anyone what work I did in 1 whole year in a company. Maybe I can prepare for some competitive exams or prepare for another job, but tbh I don't know anything about anything.

My friends tell me to chill out since I'm getting paid for doing nothing but I don't feel that, I feel I'm stagnated to a point where I can't see where I'm going to end up in my career. I don't even know if I'm an experienced working professional or still a fresher.

I was at that place couple of months trust me you'll face hell while switching because on paper you'll have experience but in reality absolutely zero. Trust me invest your time in atleast clearing concepts like data structures, OOPS and choose a tech stack (prefer MERN moreover) and do good projects. I'm facing this right now so thought I should give you heads-up. Work on yourself.

So I should just take up personal projects and do them on my own? I've been doing all sorts of DSA and programming since joining but haven't done any projects as I don't know how to go about it
