I feel like I am not achieving anything
So here is the situation, I am working for 4 years in the same company and in the meantime overspent so much that I had to borrow money from friends to pay off the debts. I was in the verge of depression and suicide. So I stayed in this company and worked hard and was able to payback half of my debts with time. Meantime i prepared for job switches too, i got one interview call and they told 3 months notice period is not possible and one more was from Accenture saying the position is put on hold.
As the market is dull, I decided to stop searching for sometime and my health was getting worse due to rotational shifts in current project. But this month I got promotion with 16% hike and i guess its somewhat decemt compared to what others got.
But some of my friends are jumping companies with double of the given CTC.
Now i feel missed out and sad for not trying to switch.. seems like i am drowning into another phase of depression.....

Mai civil engineering graduate TCS se career start kiya , 4 saala raha aur salary was 4.36 LPA . 4 years later my salary is close to 10 times what I had in TCS . Mehnat kar , consistency banaye rakh , and sab hoga. Dekh kismai teko interest hai. Uske according aage badh . Thoda time lagega , but hoga !

Do not compare. First pay off all your debts then build huge corpus which lasts for 2 years and then go ahead and try for switch and go big 50%+ You are running a marathon of life where everyone has different goals and are in different spots.
