How to stop feeling like I'm not progressing/losing in life though I'm not
I'm 25M. Recently switched job and got a good hike of 70%. But due to their weird salary structure i only get 30-40% hike in-hand(I'm still feeling disappointed since I told my family and had everything planned for 70% hike salary)
In-hand now: 73k + bonus of min 15k every quarter Since I'm a sole earning it's basically paycheck to paycheck
Working on my own startup it is going well so far made 7% profit YTD and will be making sure I make good progress
But I feel like I'm not achieving anything,
- my dream is to at least make 100k in-hand (not yet)
- In startup I'm making profit but since the capital is so small and I'm only taking moderate risk the return isn't much to call it 2nd income, quantitatively speaking.
- Tried freelancing no luck
- Tried contracts no luck
I know I'm not failing(except interviews) but not achieving these goals and living paycheck to paycheck feels like I'm a loser. I've an awesome and supporting family and gf and I don't want them to know I'm feeling like this since it will worry them 🙂

It'll work out bro. My journey's kinda the same, building something of my own along with the day job. Only thing to do is focus and keep grinding.
Yup I'm doing that without giving up... It's just that the feeling of being a failure even though I'm not has started to creep in

Ya I'm aware those ages has its own problem but the issue is not the problem itself... It's just I've not met the goals in my life but I'm not failing either so I'm feeling this way

The startup is basically investment related. We take money from client(mostly my own) and provide the return based on the risk they can afford. Most of my strategies are automated so I dont have to do anything manually and it will run on its own

The startup I'm building is similar to mutual funds.. we take money from client and invest that based on their risk affordability(different plans/scheme)
