How to navigate in a Startup environment where WLB is not an option?

I joined this startup funded by Tier-1 VC in Bangalore recently and the work culture here is shit tbh.

It feels like people here are working on a college project, no respect for your health, personal life or mental well being. They just always create fake urgency and keep pushing you beyond limits.

There's no working hours defined and you'll feel guilty if you leave before completing a minimum of 10 hours working. I've seen them making people stay awake till 4 AM in the morning and still forcing them to come till noon to continue working.

14-16 hours working is the norm here, got to know that people even passed out in the washroom due to excessive workload and unnecessary pressure.

Don't know how I'm gonna navigate here.

Any suggestions or tips for survival?

Calling swiggy a startup is a joke. I think tata steel and reliance should now call themselves startups..

Are all startup life is same?

I’ve been working in a startup since last 8 months and I am exhausted. The team size is around 30 (frontend and backend). Some weekends are working too and there’s nothing like timings. I am left with nothing but just work, no other act...
