How to escalate a manager?

I had several instances when I escalated my manager to skip level or directly to MD.

If you also want to do, make sure to follow below steps:

Make early connections with skip level managers and MD (at least when you join a company or after a month)
Keep posting them your work updates whenever you meet
Share your concerns (not about manager) regarding work in a glimpse
Reach to a level of comfort and then make a pitch
