How to deal with office politics ?

I hate going to work, bcs of one fucking person

Context, : got sidelined and basically silently kicked out of a high visibility project when someone else was brought in from outside. This was part of my quarterly project and will affect my performance.

This is frustrating as fuck. I feel like punching this person everyday, stopped speaking casually to them. They try to undermine whatever I say even during work meetings. How do I deal w this situation, apart from speaking to my manager?
