Ghosting after interviews feels awful. You did everything right, crushed the rounds, and now… silence. It’s frustrating. Here are my two cents:
-
Give It a Few More Days
HR folks juggle a lot, so it’s possible they’re just caught up. Wait 2-3 more days before making assumptions.
-
Send a Polite Follow-Up (With a Feedback Angle)
If you haven’t heard back after a few days, shoot a short and confident follow-up:
Hi [HR’s Name], I hope you’re doing well. I wanted to follow up on my interview process and check if there are any updates. I really appreciate the time everyone took to meet with me, and I’d love to hear about the next steps when you have a chance. Also, if there’s any feedback you can share on my interview performance, I’d truly appreciate it—it helps me grow and improve. Looking forward to hearing from you. Thanks!
Please tweak this to sound 'more you'.

Keep It Moving
Don’t let one company dictate your confidence. Keep applying, networking and exploring other opportunities. Your skills and preparation are valuable and if they don’t see it, someone else will.
-
Reframe It: Their Loss, Not Yours
If they ghost, it’s a red flag on their end-not yours if you did everything you can, including reflecting on what you could do differently the next time. A company that lacks basic courtesy in hiring won’t magically become great at communication once you’re working there. You dodged a bullet.

Stay Ready for What’s Next
This job isn’t the only one out there. Stay in control by keeping the momentum going. If they do call back and offer no feedback, great! If not, their silence after a considerable amount of time is your answer and a sign to move on to bigger and better things.
Bottom line?
You did your part. Now, let them prove if they’re worth your time. If not, they just gave you your beginning for the right opportunity. 💪
