How do you manage your lifestyle for a healthy way of living?
Personally, I think the underlying factor for me has been being strict with myself. I try to work out 6x a week on a regular basis. Using my finances wisely with healthy meals. I mean, a burger from Louis Burger or a Pizza from Pizza Bakery is baller but in the long run that's a real killer. Finally, I have been trying to prioritize sleep which means don't scroll reels/social media for 30 minutes before bed if it is 1am already.
What about you?

And here I am eating junk food everyday and barely exercising 🙂 This gave me some motivation

I try. I try. But people around me are pushing much harder. One colleague used to smoke like a train and then quickly turned things around when his wife got pregnant and turned into a marathoner ffs.

Did he somehow just replace his lungs? Didn't know human body could transform like that

I'm 24yo. I have created a diet that gives me all the vitamins and nutrients. I workout 6 days a week. I have banned sugar for 1year+. No alcohol, cigarette, fast food(yup). Most important, I practice Yog (not yoga) 1hr in the morning. My health was very average a year ago. Now I'm full of life. Hope it helps

21 yo Fresher Never had alcohol/ciggerate in my entire life Now I have joined the gym and got addicted to it
So 2 hrs of workout 5-6 days/week
Have seen some significant changes in my mental and physical health
One cheat day a week, usually on Sundays🫠

This is splendid. I appreciate you sharing this.

I have been overweight for the first 25 years of my life and finally adopted a morning routine for the past 2years, I wake up at 630, go for a casual run 3-4km , then play badminton everyday from 730 to 8:30/9:00 get back home leave for work at 10, I usually come back home by 9/10 one hour to myself , skip dinners and I feel amazing throughout the day. It gets easier but you gotta do it every day...

Every day we rise.

I’ve lately realised the only thing that can keep me sane from all the work-related stress is exercise and self-care. Adding my major changes below:
- Meal prep for atleast 4 days a week. Helps me consciously choose what I eat. Plus don’t have to spend 30-40 mins scrolling swiggy-zomato and waiting for orders.
- 60 mins in the gym everyday. Even on the days I don’t feel like going, I make it a point to simply show up at the gym and do some ‘active recovery’. Getting to the gym is pain, but the after effects are totally worth it.
- Badminton at least 3-4 times a week through Playo with friends. This is mainly to replace my social activity by replacing nashe sesh with an hour of active playing with friends.
I also realized having a stable job is key in all this. That gave me the privilege to focus on these other areas. Otherwise I was always stuck in a hustler rat race.

I completely agree with this.

I bought a cycle and cycling daily for 2-4 kms. Trying to extend the distance to 5 km.
I went to Gym during college but gym trainer is very bad by increasing weights every week and I could not lift after certain period. So I stopped believing in GYMs.
