You need to discuss your travel aspiration to your HCM superviser. During nov/dec every year, HCM will nominate you for raising h1b visa request. You need to raise request and submit documents. During March everyyear, lottery happen in USCIS. If selected in lottery, susequebt process will continue.

2nd lottery is already out and uscis has wrapped it up too

i don’t think we have second lottery , I applied in Feb submit documents but it got rejected.
