Help me with 90 days NOTICE PERIOD

I am in a situation where I am facing a horrible 90 day notice period at my current organization.

I will be receiving an offer, maybe in a while, from HCL. I have never told the HCL HR that I have a 90 day notice period.

HCL completed the client interview too. I will be having one negotiation round. I don't know how to deal with it. It's going to be my first switch, and I'm scared.

How to deal with this 90 days? Should I lie to HCL HR? I don't know how to deal... please help.

Just get the offer letter first, tell HCL that you have a 90 day notice period negotiable up to 45 days.

Once you have the offer letter tell them that your manager isn’t allowing for early release but you are still fighting. Give them a realistic date.

Now, what you need to do is clearly communicate within your organisation that you won’t be taking any additional responsibilities and start transferring your work. Make sure you put a timeline to it (preferably 30 days) so that everyone knows you will be paid for nothing in next 60 days. Stop working- it’s unprofessional but so is what your org is doing. So they can go f themselves.

Once your 30 days are over, talk to HCL saying you can start having quick conversations with people internally on how to hit the ground running once you start. Getting expectations aligned with your manager, talking to people in the team- don’t start working just conversations to understand your work, your team and the org better. Have a 30-60-90 day plan created once you reach 75-80th day of your notice. Make sure that hiring HR and your new manager are comfortable during the 90 day period (usually people get retained, give them confidence that you are joining no matter what- even if you are in conversation for retention)

Thanks a bunch, man. It means a lot. You motivated me like crazy. I got a call from my Hr and Manager few hours back... Hr told me that they want to put me in PIP. While my Manager is saying these are absolutely a formality. I will hold you... don't worry about this pip.

how to deal with it ? Somewhere i feel like i will get early release easily. But my manager is saying i will hold u.. idk what to do now

They never asked me yet. I have cleared everything. Just the Hr round is pending
