Amids layoffs and recessions, has your company become more toxic that it used to be?
My last org kinda got very toxic towards the end in the rush for profitability and growth to show investors.
Unholy work hours
Management started treating us worse
No matter what you did was enough and you were blamed for the mistakes or ungodly predictions given by leadership
Micromanagers and office politics was rampant.
People started sleeping their way to promotions and favours
Overall a shit show
Really? Sleeping their way to promotions? That's a Scandalous claim..
The person got 7 promotions in a span of a year and a half. They don’t even do any work in the office anymore at this point.
Totally! Appraisals stopped, vendor payments stopped, top management cleared, next level management quitting.
Funny thing, laid off people came together to build rival company. Same business, same clients, better seed funding though 😅🤭
