Guide me in choosing: USA vs India

Hi,

I am working as SAP consultant in one product based company with 6 YOE in Bangalore, India. Current Salary: 19 LPA fixed + 2 LPA Variable.

Now, I have a two below offers. Kindly help me in choosing between two.

Offer from Big4 company in Bangalore. Salary is 26 LPA fixed + 3 LPA variable. This is SAP consulting role which I am doing right now in current company.
Offer from small SAP consulting company from USA with salary 110k USD per year plus benefits. The location of work mainly in one of the states between Texas, Ohio, California. They are sponsoring my H1B Visa and I got selected in the lottery and they are about to file my petition.

About this Small SAP consulting company: They have started this consulting business before 2 decades and they provide SAP consulting to their clients. They also have offices in India too.

Let me know your thoughts.

Go for US , if you get the lottery, its good. However for texas and ohio this salary is good. For California it is not. So renegotiate if they are offering California. If you don’t get the lottery, go for the big 4

Duuuudddeee, this is not a good offer California is far more expensive than texas and extremely more expensive than ohio. Think it like this, in ohio 110k is like being almost a millionaire but getting bare minimum infra at your disposal. Texas is more like upper middle class with decent infrastructure and incredible housing space, but limiting tech opportunities. California with 110k is like a poor taxi driver, california is the worst place you could choose to live in if you are making 100k, it's disgustingly expensive. Don't take the 100k offer at all if you are going to California. Rest I believe is fine

Holyshit u got a child and a spouse... If infy is getting u H1B then it is a great plus point. Usa is being really dodgy at this moment with H1B, so aid is a great plus point. 85k for texas is a great start, less taxes bigger house, this making living easier with family, don't even think about california at 100k especially with family. Also texas will provide easier opportunity to get used to American work culture with decent pay-in-hand compared to California and also getting a learning opportunity to move towards california with better pay in future.
