Got stuck with notice period loop

I got selected in one of the organisation where they mentioned joining date after 1 month, although in start of the interview I mentioned that my official notice period is of 2 months but I will try to reduce it by 1 month. Now I put my papers and chances are that I have to serve the whole 2 months notice period how I can ask the new company to extend will they do it ?
