Got a Rupay UPI card only to see "merchant doesn't accept credit card UPI payments"

What's the use of introducing a feature like this

Because there is a MDR involved which a merchant doesn't want to pay as it is more than CC and UPI is free for merchant

That happens rarely though. But it's going to happen more often pretty soon because the MDR% on payment via RuPay CC is much higher than POS machines

Nothing to do this with the payment gateway company. It's on the merchant, whether it is unblocked or blocked UPI CC trxns by the merchant

Nah dude. You gotta link it to your UPI app. Ask for scanner and scan and pay via card. Don't use your card directly
