Taxes is completely a different area, accidents happen in low tax countries as well. Not trivialising the incident but merging it with other issues is almost foolishness.
This will continue to happen. We pay taxes and get nothing in return. All officials are corrupt in India. Even justice is corrupt. See Pune case only he got bailed. I left the hope from this country's high people that they will do something better for this country. We pay tax and all money going in the pocket of politicians. Unki 7 pushte khayegi hamara paisa. Aur ham hilate rahng.

Fun fact, all of these projects were outsourced to "private contractors", corners were cut wherever they could get away with, safety and inspections were an afterthought. But at least they had record profits, and dividends for their foreign shareholders!
Most of those contractors are relatives/related to MPs, MLAs.
Projects won't be randomly given to any relatives for free.. Bids will be called and ppl need to fight openly..
