Founder charging for chats

While researching a company, I found a link to a form where you could book a chat with the Founder - seemed like a sweet gesture for an early-stage startup. But at the end of the form, there was a Razorpay link connected to their Topmate: ₹1500 for a 90-minute chat.

I get that a Founder's time is valuable, but this felt more like showoff than necessity.
