First generation surgeon

I am first generation doctor(surgeon) here I am currently training to become oncosurgeon I come from northern parts of Mumbai I want to ask surgeons who have built their practice or work from scratch No family background No political support No one to help

Is it wise to stick to corporate practice or is it advisable to go ahead and try to build something of my own!
