Feeling Horrible; Need Advice
Joined in July, the project just ended, and now I'm in a career purgatory. Manager's response? A classic "we're all adults" cop-out with zero guidance. My project buddies got new assignments, but I'm left hanging.
Switching jobs now looks bad - I'll be branded a job hopper since my last gig was only eight months too. Basically feeling like a sitting duck waiting for a potential layoff.
what should i do
Be interview ready, use the time to brush up and keep searching projects internally
did that but that's a dead end. there are roles, but overseas and not considering indians smh.
Total experience and number of jumps till now? I would suggest if you really see a dead end then then just switch mahn. It's just a private job nobody cares,job hopper or not
