Experience at IQVIA

Daily schedule 1pm-3am/4am, working weekends, resulting in PIP.

My sister rejoined IQVIA as she had a really good experience 4 years ago. But little did she know that "clients are god" is running deep within the organization now.

My sister was assigned a team and project and was due training within days. But suddenly she was moved
to another team where the requirement of 14 yrs which was double her experience. With no training and no project KT, She had been working from 1pm daily until 3am as a clinical data team lead. The team where she was working was the worst. Whole team works until 3am or sometimes even 4am but no one says anything. Client takes advantage and calls even at 2am saying it is urgent and everyone should join. No one helps anyone saying that they are already working overtime and dont have time to help others. When my sister said this to manager, she said ask your team members its their duty to help.

This took toll on my sisters health and unfortunately she missed 2 meetings scheduled at 1am which is after her work hours. Client got angry, asked manager to remove my sister. My sister went full stress mode and got dark circles due to which she missed to achieve deadline which i feel is normal since no one can work 14hirs daily for 8 months.

Client asked manager to put my sister into PIP(review and last warning) which was of 2 months. At the end manager asked my sister to put down papers. Now she is very frustrated and sad that IQVIA where she was one of best employees during her previous time, wants her to leave on her own.

And shocking this was they already had a 4yr experienced employee ready for replacement and was already under training since 3 months.

This is pretty common in service based companies, your time makes them money hence they try to squeeze as much as possible

Unfortunately yes. But back when ky sister used to work there precovid, this wasnt the case in any team. Covid change everyone and everything. Pre-covid work, salary and work-life balance was one of thr best. Post-covid one of the the worst
