Everyone’s talking about agentic payments & commerce. But I’m more curious about what’s next ?
If AI can already transact on our behalf, then what’s the next frontier for fintech & payments?
Some possibilities I keep hearing:
🧠 Intent-based commerce (you set goals, AI executes)
💸 Continuous / streaming money instead of transactions
🤖 Agent-to-agent economies
🔐 Trust & liability infrastructure becoming the real product
📉 Payments becoming completely invisible
But honestly — none of these feel settled yet.
What do you think is the next big shift after agentic payments? (Tech, business model, regulation, or something we’re missing entirely?)
Would love to hear different takes — especially from folks building in fintech/payments.
